MacShell™ DEMO
MacShell is a UNIX style Shell for the Macintosh. With more than
70 commands, MacShell provides multiple independent shells. MacShell
is customizable with pull down (and hierarchical) menus, shell variables,
command alias's, scripts and on-line help.
Written using object orientated programming techniques, Macshell uses
a new technology called "recursive object tasking" (ROT). ROT allows
Macshell to perform several overlapping tasks such as simulatinious grep
searches and text editing. MacShell is fully Multifinder compatibile.
MacShell can execute shell scripts from the finder. Such scripts can
be used for many useful tasks, such as backing up files or printing
an entire project's source code.
The demo version of MacShell is fully functional except for the cd
(change directory) command. Thus you can use the entire command set,
but only from the MacShell application directory. There are no
restrictions on the distribution of the demo.
